Every year, first day of holy week. Cusco is prepared for the most largest procession in whole Peru, because the population in Cusco receives the blessing of Señor de los Temblores (Lord of Earthquakes). This day, the faith into all cusquenian people it increases totally.
When the number of faithful who accompanied the Lord of the Earthquakes is reduced in the procession, at two in the afternoon. Besides religious and tertiaries orders, the devotees participate in organized brotherhoods, Catholic schools students and believers who do not belong to any association. Roots of popular religiosity, where native people merges with Christian doctrine is observed.
